Dr. V. Gopi, leading the Arts faculty at Agarsen College, personifies Paulo Coelho’s idea that “When you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.” His leadership is marked by a fervent commitment to nurturing students’ creativity and resilience in the arts. He believes in empowering students to explore their creative passions, fostering an environment where artistic expression and innovation are central to personal and academic growth.
Dr. Gopi’s vision extends to fostering a global perspective among students, emphasizing the importance of embracing cultural diversity and innovation in the arts. His leadership not only prepares students as artists but also as compassionate individuals ready to make meaningful contributions to the world.

Dr. Lalitha Balakrishnan plays a crucial role at Agarsen College, guiding it toward a future of educational distinction. She believes that “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” This belief in the transformative power of education is at the core of her approach. She is a strong advocate for modern teaching strategies and scholarly research from her 25+ years of experience that she gets from M.O.P. Vaishnav College for Women, enhancing the college’s learning atmosphere. Her efforts are aimed at nurturing a new generation of students, who are not only well-informed and morally upright, but also ready to take proactive steps in leadership roles.
Under her guidance, Agarsen College is committed to offering an education that not only adheres to the highest academic standards but also instills a deep sense of ethical leadership and community service. As we proudly celebrate the Silver Jubilee – 25 glorious years of service in higher education, it is a moment of great pride and reflection for our entire Agarsen family. Over the past two and a half decades, the college has consistently strived to nurture young minds with knowledge, discipline, integrity, and social responsibility. The journey of these 25 years has been made possible through the dedicated efforts of our management, faculty members, non-teaching staff, students, alumni, and well-wishers.
